Thanks to Colombia's 18 federal holidays we at Team Azulina are feeling nice and refreshed after enjoying a day off yesterday.
Over the long-weekend I took some time to sleep in a bit, catch up on reading and take my new bike out for a spin on Bogotá's ciclovía (click here to see the coolest bike ever).
I also got to planning my trip back to the Texas for Thanksgiving. Which brings me to today's post, a continuation of the Meet the Collection Series. Today we are profiling the Rojo pattern, a design that Azulina co-developed with our factory.
The Rojo Collection is one of our bestsellers, and it's no wonder! It is full of life, sassy and looks 'in season' all year round. Now that the holidays are coming up it certainly fits right in.
The Rojo Collection is a pattern that we developed alongside our factory partners in El Carmen de Viboral, Colombia. It is inspired by an old green and blue carnation design called Alelí that was developed in the 1980s. When I was looking for a strong red pattern I took one quick look at Alelí and asked that we paint that pattern in red (hence the name rojo ). And voilá, the Rojo Collection was created.
If you would like to get your hands on our Rojo Collection visit the Azulina Tienda to see all our available sizes. And remember, all dinnerware sets always ship free!
Have a wonderful, productive, full of love kind of week.
Con Mucho Amor,
